Interested in learning how we came up with our name?
Our name Distractors.exe means a multitude of things. Our team is prone to distracting each other, which may not always be the best but it keeps the atmosphere light and cheery. We may get distracted easily which was how the name originated, but we work hard to get our tasks done.
FTC also provides us a distraction, but in a good sense diverting our attention from the pandemic to focusing on Robotics for the entirety of this summer. It has been so much fun hanging out with friends all while learning Robotics, and being social, a distraction from what's been going on.
Sir Isaac Newton wasn't in his laboratory when he discovered the law of gravity. If you believe the fable, he was relaxing in the countryside, and whether or not an apple fell on his head, what matters is that he was taking a break when the realization hit him. Aha! Or Eureka moments often happen when we least expect them- when we allow ourselves to be distracted.
